Hey Beauties,

There is going to be a bit of break of the New Year’s Resolution posts. I am still going to write them, but at the moment I feel like posting this particular post. To be quite honest, I am having a very difficult time reading the one book I have to read. As you have probably guessed it that other things are coming up that are putting it to the side, which shouldn’t be an excuse. I will finish it soon. I know I will.

At any rate, for the longest time I have thought in my head that if my novel, “Green Beauty” was a movie or television show which actors and actresses would play the main roles. When writing the novel there were 2 actors in general who I wanted to play as my characters, because I grew up to their acting abilities. So as I wrote my novel I thought of these 2 when finishing it. For years, I thought to myself, “Who would play the other characters?” Up until a few days ago I thought about the possibilities, and I think I put together an interesting cast.

Now, mind you in the near future I know it is slim to none that this will actually happen. I thought of it so when people are reading they can imagine someone in their head while they are reading. Honestly, when we are thinking about my novel being a show or movie in real life I kind of am against the idea. In the back of my head I am thinking about how much the director and everyone else involved will change my book. I mean after all, a lot of fans of books that become a movie or show they don’t like how they change the concept the story line or the characters themselves. For me, I would want to cheat it like dying or cutting the actor’s hair, have them wear contacts or wigs if needed of course. After all, when I wrote it in the first place I had a certain image in mind. I wouldn’t want it to be changed by any means.

So anyway… let’s get to the actors/ actresses I chose to present my characters. I picked people mostly that I grew up watching on my favorite shows or movies and I watched their acting and loved how they acted. I also kept the visions of how my characters looked in mind… but more importantly I think the acting abilities are more important. I want it to be believable to the audience watching. For one, thing the main character I chose would be cheated into wearing contacts. Since my main character has green eyes the possible choices I picked I have brown… anyway..

Character #1 Jackie (main character)- Option 1- Miranda Cosgrove// Option 2- Vanessa Hudgens

Both of these actresses I think would be able to pull it off. I wanted that youthful look, and I think both of these actresses are the kind of look I am looking for. In their acting abilities I think they would bring 2 different perspectives. I think it is rather interesting what they can bring to it. I would expect them to get really emotional for this role. I have seen it from Vanessa, and she can really pull that off. I only seen a glimpse from Miranda, but nevertheless I think either or would be fine. In this decision Miranda would be the first option.

Character #2&3 Matt and Andy  (Twin brothers that are close friends with the main character) Dylan and Cole Sprouse

These are the 2 actors I was thinking about throughout the whole process. It is rather difficult finding 2 handsome twin actors. I grew up with watching these 2 and I think this would be perfect! How I described my characters is how good looking they are, and they would fill that. Although I did mention about them having blonde hair. That is the one downfall. I personally liked watching them with the blonde hair. Their blonde hair inspired me to picked them specifically.

Character #4 Keith (New close friend of main character) Devon Werkheiser

I had the hardest time finding an actor that would play as Keith. I always watched “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.” Yes, that show was a comedy, but even though it was funny I could see that there was more to him than just laughing. I think it might be a challenge, but I think he has the potential to fill that role. His goofiness will pull off when he is interacting with the main character. I would like to keep that scruffiness that he has in this picture, because my character isn’t all clean shaven and such. As soon as I watching an old video of another show I use to watch Devon popped in my head instantly, and I thought for sure that he would be perfect for this character.

Character #5 Zoey (old school close friend)- Option 1- Jamie Lynn Spears // Option 2- Emma Roberts

Ironic that I picked the girl from “Zoey 101” to play Zoey in my story. I mean it is partially right. After watching the show I felt that Zoey really suits her… I think that is the reason, but I really like Jamie Lynn as an actress. She is an amazing actress. You can really tell that she has the potential to play Zoey. Quite honestly, my Zoey character just loves, and wants to be loved. Now, with Emma I have seen her with certain acting roles that made me think that she has a great look to serious topics. I think she could take care of a role like this if she was given the opportunity. Of course though Jamie would be my first option.

Character #6 Jason (main character’s brother) Brenton Thwaites

I think Brenton could play this role. I mean my character starts off as a jerk, but as time goes on he becomes more sensitive. The character has a lot of anger built up inside, and with Brenton and how he acts I think he could easily show his emotion of anger. He has a very expressive face. I honestly can’t see him in a laughing role.. ( not that he can’t laugh or anything) It is more like he is believable actor. For him to act in a serious role like this would benefit him.
